Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Launch Feel Good Friday

Rye Hills Academy have worked with the Diana Award in order to train 10 of our students to help victims of bullying in our Academy. The 10 students are members of the Rye Hills Academy Student Council and they communicate regularly with the Diana Award to keep them informed of our plans and Academy support staff when an issue is recurring or concerning.

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors hold drop in sessions every Friday lunchtime for fellow students. They believe that sometimes it is easier to speak to a fellow student than an adult. With this scheme, our students can use their communication skills and enforce positivity and kindness. If an incident needs further action, they would liaise with safeguarding or pastoral support officers.
