In 2017 results in maths and English were reported using grades 9-1 for the first time.  A grade 4 is classed as a standard pass and a grade 5 is a strong pass. 

76% of students achieved a standard pass in English, 59% achieved a strong pass.

66% of students achieved a standard pass in maths, 45% achieved a strong pass.

61% of students achieved standard passes in both English and maths, 40% achieved strong passes. 

60% of students achieved standard passes in 5 or more subjects, including English and maths, 40% achieved strong passes.

Attainment 8 grade was 4.5.

Progress 8 score was -0.26.
