Pupil Premium

Pupil premium refers to a grant payable to schools to provide support to children:

  • who are known to have been eligible for free school meals at any time in the last 6 years;

  • who were looked after by a local authority immediately before being adopted;

  • who have left local authority care on a special guardianship order or residence order

  • who have a parent in the armed forces.

Catch Up Premium

Each year schools are allocated a catch up premium to support Year 7 students who did not achieve the National Standard in Literacy and Numeracy at the end of KS2. The plan and report are published annually.
